The second release of 2019 continues in proper NOREMIXES fashion of doing a 180 on musical genres. This time, it’s dare we say, IDM/Braindance??!! You know, that sound from the 90’s which became the catch all phrase to describe the mash up of styles that became popular amongst the Warp, Rephlex and Tigerbeat 6 camps. There really is no other way to break down “Be With You”, the first release from newcomer WWAARRPPSSPPEEEEDD.

“Be With You” is a flurry of activity, eight bar switches of hyper sampled and chopped up vocals and percussion, followed by synth washes and found sound percussion. Auto-tuned ghostly voices and ultra melodic synths lead into an acid bassline which inevitably results in an Amen tearout. The production on “Be With You” is tight, but manic, and reminds us of sweaty basement raves.

We look forward to more music from WWAARRPPSSPPEEEEDD.
